New Yule Witch

hi friends! still waiting for a bit of snow to come here...it's hard to feel like decorating for Christmas with green grass everywhere. At least I was smart and got my outdoor lights put up when it was mild.  Even though I don't feel like decorating, at least my muse is back, and I am anxious to fill my Etsy shop with some new art. I finished this Yuletide witch  last night, and right now finished woodburning a precocious go-go boot wearing snow fairy, lol! no traditional snow fairies for me :-)
Now let's see if I can make it work. I want glitz, and lots of sparkle! Once she is done- unless I ruin it, I will show it here on my blog.
Thanksgiving is coming up for my American friends, and from what I hear, the crazy holiday season starts right afterward.  Black Friday I think it's called? I'm excited for you, even though our Thanksgiving was over a month ago. It means countdown to Christmas, my favorite time of year.

Well, time to get back to my fairy, thanks for reading!

Oooh another beautiful girl.

Love that your thinking of decorating for Christmas already. If I did that my husband would disown me. He hates that the holiday lights go up before Thanksgiving around town. Of course if it was up to him, he wouldn't have to decorate at all. But since we have a grandson, he has too. :)

Hi Pink.
Your Yuletide Witch is pretty and sweet. I love the little owl in her hand and I love all the greenery. You are making me think Christmas. I'm not ready to start decorating yet, but right after Thanksgiving I'll get started. I hope we get some more nice weather so I don't freeze putting the lights outside. It was 78* on Tuesday and we had snow flurries today.
Your girls are beautiful, Pink, be they witches or fairies.

Ooh she's lovely, the colours are fabulous.
I think this might be the first year that I have no christmas spirit at all, usually i'm all prepared but this year I just can't be bothered with it all and i'm even shutting up my etsy shop on December 5th to avoid it all lol ;o)

She is adorable, Betty.....and with a little owl familiar, too! Be still my owl loving heart!

As for Black Friday, I avoid it at all costs...the crowds, the rushing.....it just isn't for me...haha!

Can't wait to see your sassy, sparkly snow fairy!

We are doing our Thanksgiving dinner on Black Friday - no desire to go shopping in the madness so why not stay home and feast! :D

So lovely to hear from you, thank you for your beautiful comment.

While at college, a really nice tutor called Steve Jones taught me hands can be steadier going away from us. Sometimes I do this with lines but forget sometimes and remember after a mistake, lol!
:) Hope your having an awesome week!
